Our Work in the Skies

Each project tells a story of pushing boundaries and reimagining what aviation spaces can be. We've spent years crafting structures that don't just serve aircraft—they inspire everyone who walks through them.

Featured Projects

Building the Future of Flight

From massive international terminals to intimate training facilities, we've tackled pretty much every aviation challenge you can imagine. Here's what we've been up to lately.

Toronto Pearson Terminal Expansion

Pearson Terminal 4 Expansion

Toronto, ON | 2023

Size

185,000 sq ft | 42 gates

Sustainability

LEED Platinum | 68% energy reduction

Honestly one of our toughest builds. Had to keep operations running while adding an entire wing. Used modular construction to speed things up and cut waste by almost 40%. The natural light system we designed cuts energy costs like crazy.

Canadian Architecture Award 2024 Aviation Week Excellence
Air Canada Maintenance Hangar

Air Canada Maintenance Hub

Montreal, QC | 2024

Capacity

3 widebody aircraft

Features

Smart climate control

The structural engineering on this one was insane—clear spans over 300 feet with zero columns. Threw in geothermal heating and rainwater collection. Mechanics actually love working here now.

Engineering Excellence Award
Canadian Aviation Heritage Museum

Canadian Aviation Heritage Museum

Ottawa, ON | 2023

Exhibition Space

95,000 sq ft | 65 aircraft display

We wanted visitors to feel like they're walking through aviation history. High ceilings, natural light bouncing off polished fuselages. The suspended display system took forever to perfect but it's worth it.

Heritage Design Award
Seneca Flight Academy

Seneca Flight Academy

Peterborough, ON | 2024

Training Capacity

450 students annually

State-of-the-art simulators, classrooms with panoramic runway views, and student lounges that don't feel like an afterthought. Solar panels handle 80% of the power needs.

Education Facility Award
Executive Aviation Centre

Executive Aviation Centre

Vancouver, BC | 2023

Type

Private jet terminal & FBO

Luxury meets efficiency. Floor-to-ceiling glass, heated tarmac access, private lounges. Designed for quick turnarounds without sacrificing the high-end experience clients expect.

Luxury Design Award
Calgary Regional Control Tower

Calgary Regional Control Tower

Calgary, AB | 2024

Height

180 feet | 360-degree visibility

Technology

Advanced ATC systems

Wind loads were the main challenge here—had to engineer for some pretty gnarly prairie conditions. Anti-glare glass and ergonomic controller stations make 12-hour shifts way more bearable.

Infrastructure Innovation
Hamilton Cargo Hub

Hamilton International Cargo Hub

Hamilton, ON | 2023

Capacity

250,000 tons annually

Efficiency

Automated sorting systems

All about logistics flow. Designed the layout so cargo moves through like clockwork. Temperature-controlled zones, quick aircraft access, and a design that can scale up when volumes grow.

Industrial Design Award
Victoria Harbour Seaplane Terminal

Victoria Harbour Seaplane Terminal

Victoria, BC | 2024

Location

Waterfront facility

Building over water? Yeah, that's always interesting. Marine-grade everything, floating docks, and storm-resistant design. The views are absolutely killer though.

Coastal Architecture Award
Regional Airport Expansion

Thunder Bay Regional Modernization

Thunder Bay, ON | 2023

Scope

Complete terminal renovation

Features

New baggage & check-in

Total transformation of a 1960s facility. Kept the bones but updated everything else—better passenger flow, more natural light, actually decent food options. Community really loves what we did here.
